BIO

Ana Marie Calise is a Portuguese/Italian- American actress, singer, and editor. She is based in South Florida and New England 

She was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts and grew up in Rhode Island. She is a third generation American on both sides of her family.

 

She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama. Ana cherished her time as a drama major at Tisch School of the Arts. Within Tisch, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute, The New Studio on Broadway (Musical Theatre), and Stonestreet Studios. At NYU, she studied with  

Randy Graff, Ted Sluberski, Vance Barber, Kent Gash, and Geoffrey Horne.

She is currently getting her MFA in Drama at Florida Atlantic University. She is currently full time in South Florida, but also has local housing in New England. FAU credits include: 9 to 5: The Musical (Judy) The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 (Elsa), Sweat (Tracey), Polaroid Stories (Philomel), and more. 

Ana has done an extensive amount of theatre in Rhode Island and New York City. Recently, Ana has had leading and supporting roles in a variety of independent films including "Summer Issues" and "The Perfect Fit". She also wrote and starred in "A Different Kind of Animal". The film was produced by Blue Slate Films and she starred alongside Robert Capron (Diary of a Wimpy Kid). 

Ana's goal is to continue to perform, direct, and write in the South Florida and New England area.
